Testimonials say it ALL...
"Hello!
Thanks for emailing me. I lost my Dalmatian to Colon Cancer March 30, 2007. I felt and still somewhat feel my world was over. After our devastating loss, we did research on the Healthiest Breed and Aussies kept rising to the top. Chihuahua's live longer but not healthier. Did your vet think Aussie cancer was rare? I hope he/she did.
To answer your question:
I am very leery of any "breeder". I have seen other kennels in person and in photos and was completely turned off. I visited Christine's facilities prior to accepting one of her pups. I make my pups my "human" babies and I want them healthy and treated well until I take them home.
Christine and her family run a horse riding stable. When I arrived, I was amazed at the cleanliness. In the stables themselves there was no smell of "poop" and very few flies. The place is immaculate. But much more important is Christine's and her husband's love of canines. They treat them like children. She interacts with them everyday and when they are old enough, allows her children to do so as well. Please do not misunderstand. They are raised with first class dog food, veterinary care and kennels, but they are not treated as a product, commodity or "beasts". At first, I didn't like the idea of a child playing with my baby. HOWEVER, after getting Lola and Gidget, my girls, having Christine's family socialize the dogs was actually a very special gift. My girls love people, love to be held and would never bite a child. I have a grand daughter and that is important to me. Christine doesn't "take your money and run". She keeps up with her puppies. She emails me asking how they are and asks for photos.
I adopted Lola June 2007 and I adopted Gidget October 2007. They are both the picture of health. Christine requested that my husband and I sleep with a "baby" blanket for a couple of weeks and send it to her. She then put it in the puppy's kennel when it rested to get accustomed to our scent. I know for certain Christine really cares for these dogs. Both times, you could see the sadness in Christine's eyes when she had to let them go. I havent had any problem with ABC Terriers, and certainly would go back and get another one. My dogs are AKC Registered and are fabulous.
I'm not ever going to "show" my aussies so I have no clue on what they should be like for that purpose. But I know EVERYTHING about having a dog to love and enrich my life. The Aussies I got from Christine were so much more than she promised.
I hope I answered your questions. Please email me anytime with questions or to talk about our Aussies!
I've attached a photo of my girls!

We were at the vet the other day, for the first time and the comment that our vet told us was that she was in "great shape" for a puppy. Everyone in the office just loved her. She just loves people and she is not afraid to show it. It actually shows how well you are as a breeder and the way you both (Ray) treat your animals. The vet said that just looking at Cassie, he could see how well she was being raised before she was adopted by us. He said that for a dog her age she was very socialized and well mannered.
Of course she is a terrier, and she is a handful, but it is a ball.... We lucked out by getting a puppy from a breeder that were as caring as you are. We love her dearly. Our little girl is such a "ham" that the minute I bring the camera out, she starts posing. Typical female….. We are almost to the point where she goes to the door when she wants out, so that to us is progress. She sleeps the whole night through from day one without a whimper. Of course, I think you can see we really love her!

we will send you an on going saga of pictures in the life of our little sweetheart.
Again, Thanks and please keep in touch........................John & Pam

Hello Christine. I wanted to write you sooner but did not really know how to express my feelings and how much the puppy we got from you has meant to our family. Some things are so easily expressed with words but it is so difficult to tell you how much our Winston means to us. When I first saw your site on Australian Terriers I knew nothing about the breed. We are a family of dog lovers and have had many as members of our family over the years. I found your site to be very informative and became very interested in your dogs. But after calling and talking to you we knew we had to come and see you and your puppies. Oh Christine you are too modest on your site about the wonderful qualities of your dogs! There is no way I can list all the exceptional characteristics of this breed.
Believe me when I tell you that this is the ONLY dog we have ever owned that does NOT have a doggy odor and no shedding. I know you already knew that but I was honestly doubtful that a dog did not have some odor even when dirty. Well Winston NEVER smells doggy (but even if he did we would still love him! And believe me we live on 18 acres out in the country and he PLAYS hard but
when he comes inside he still does not smell.
Now that is amazing in itself but let me make a few remarks on Winston's personality. The best way I can describe it is "Mr.Personality!" He is very verbal and "talks" to us all the time. It is so funny the way he really tries to "tell" us things constantly. We have never had such a conversationalist in a dog. Oh I must mention how he can carry three toys in his mouth AND "talk" at the same time. Yep he is amazing! Of course we are not partial or anything like that BUT I dare say no other dog can compete with Sir Winston! Okay I know I am going on too long but I told you it is too hard to list all the great qualities of your Australian Terriers and I realize that they are probably all as awesome as our Winston ( or almost!). Let me end by thanking you again for allowing us to have Winston in our family.
When I first talked to you by phone I told you how we had lost our beloved Cairn terrier to cancer a few months before. You were so compassionate as I tearfully told you of how heartbroken we were over our loss. I knew then that you were someone so special and a breeder I could trust. Well you have proven yourself many times over and have always been available if I had a question or just wanted to let you know how well Winston was doing. I just want you to know how much we appreciate your time and expertise. I just wish more people knew how exceptional your Australian Terriers are and I honestly believe it all begins with an exceptional breeder such
as yourself. I am so thankful that we found a breeder like you, Christine, who maintains the highest quality of standards and only the best motivations to raise the finest puppies for people who are lucky enough to own an Australian Terrier! I know that since Winston has brightened our lives and mended our broken hearts we could never be without him! Thank you a million times over! Winston says "Howdy!" and he said to tell you he is being a real good boy!!
Take care,Carolyn Wagnon
